First and foremost, we process personal data that you provide to us or that we collect when operating our website. We may also receive personal data about you from third parties. This may include the following categories:

a. Principle

c. Transfer abroad

3.5 How long do we store your data?

We only store personal data for as long as is necessary to fulfil the individual purposes for which the data was collected.

Data that we store when you visit our website is kept for twelve months. An exception to this is analytics and tracking data, which may be kept for longer.

We store contractual data for longer because we are obliged to do so by legal regulations. In particular, we are required to store business communications, concluded contracts and accounting records for up to 10 years. If we no longer need such data from you to provide our services, the data will be blocked and we will only use it for accounting and tax purposes.

a. Right of access

The processing of your request is subject to the statutory processing period of 30 days. However, we may extend this period due to high request volumes, for legal or technical reasons, or because we require further information from you. You will be informed of the extension of the deadline in good time, at least in text form.

b. Deletion and correction

You have the right to request the deletion or correction of your data at any time. We may reject the request if legal requirements oblige us to store the data for a longer period or without making any changes, or if there is a legal basis for opposing your request.

Please note that the exercise of your rights may, under certain circumstances, conflict with contractual agreements and may have a corresponding impact on the performance of the contract (e.g. premature termination of the contract or cost implications).

4. Individual data processing operations

4.1 Provision of the website and creation of log files

What information do we receive and how do we use it?

When you visit www.isgschweiz.com, certain data is automatically stored on our servers or on the servers of services and products that we obtain and/or have installed for system administration, statistical, security or tracking purposes. This data includes:

• your IP address (in some circumstances);

Why are we allowed to process this data?

How can you prevent the collection of data?

4.2 LinkedIn Ads

We use advertising services from LinkedIn, a service provided by LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company, Wilton Plaza, Wilton Place, Dublin 2, Ireland (‘LinkedIn’).

LinkedIn Ads enables us to place targeted ads based on the interests and behaviour of users. LinkedIn uses cookies and similar technologies to display ads based on your previous visits to our and other websites. This enables us to measure and optimise the effectiveness of our advertising.

The information collected by LinkedIn Ads is anonymous to us, which means that we do not receive any personal data of individual users. However, this data is stored and processed by LinkedIn so that a connection to the respective user profile is possible and LinkedIn can use the data for its own advertising purposes, in accordance with the LinkedIn privacy policy.

If you are a member of LinkedIn and are logged into your LinkedIn account while visiting our website, the data collected by LinkedIn Ads will be linked to your LinkedIn account.

We use LinkedIn Ads to analyse and optimise the effectiveness of our advertising. The data processing is carried out on the basis of our legitimate interest in targeted advertising and in analysing the impact and effectiveness of this advertising.

4.3 Adobe Fonts

Adobe Fonts is a service provided by Adobe Systems Incorporated, 345 Park Avenue, San Jose, CA 95110-2704, USA. Adobe Fonts is an online service that allows users to incorporate high-quality fonts into their websites.

We use Adobe Fonts to integrate certain fonts into our website. This enables us to ensure a consistent and appealing design that helps to improve the user experience.

In order to provide the fonts, Adobe Fonts may use cookies or other tracking technologies to collect information such as the visitor's IP address, browser type and version, and other information about the website visit.

4.4 Microsoft Ajax Content Delivery Network (CDN)

Our website uses the Microsoft Ajax Content Delivery Network (CDN), a service provided by Microsoft Corporation, One Microsoft Way, Redmond, WA 98052-6399, USA. A CDN is a network of distributed servers that is used to efficiently deliver content, in particular large media files, to users.

By using Microsoft Ajax CDN, certain files, such as JavaScript libraries or style sheets, can be loaded faster because they are delivered from a server that is geographically closer to the user. During this process, certain information, such as the user's IP address, is transmitted to Microsoft.

Microsoft may use this data to optimise and improve the CDN, but this data is not used to personally identify users.
 

4.5 Google Maps

On our website, we use Google Maps, a map service provided by Google LLC (1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; ‘Google’). Google Maps allows us to integrate interactive maps directly into the website and enables you to conveniently use the map function, for example to search for locations or plan your route.

When you visit the website, Google receives the information that you have accessed the corresponding subpage of our website. In addition, further data, in particular your IP address, is transmitted to Google and stored on Google servers. These servers may be located in the United States or other countries. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides a user account that you are logged in to or whether there is no user account.
