We are ISG. As a general contractor or total contractor, we create spaces that inspire people – places that stimulate thought, promote development and enable innovation. We have been realising challenging construction projects throughout Switzerland for over 15 years.

Our projects range from modern office and commercial spaces to future-oriented research and healthcare environments, retail, hotels and restaurants. Whether new construction, renovation or building conversion – we deliver turnkey solutions that are functional, aesthetic and sustainable.

Our Story

Our story began in 2008 in Geneva as a subsidiary of ISG UK in London.

In 2017, ISG was relaunched and rebuilt in Zurich under the leadership of Daniel Ngai-Kocher. Switzerland was part of the ISG CEE (ISG Central & Eastern Europe) group, which included Germany and Luxembourg. These countries were managed from the headquarters in Frankfurt.

In 2018, we opened an additional location in Switzerland and regained a foothold in Geneva, where it all began many years ago.

In March 2023, Daniel Ngai-Kocher took over the management of ISG CEE. The forecast for the three countries looked promising and Daniel was able to exploit and reorganize many synergies.

In the summer of 2024, we were informed that ISG Limited was to be sold. The purchase was never completed. Then in September, the news came that ISG UK was insolvent. For Switzerland, it quickly became clear that things should continue. The team supported each other, filled gaps and showed perseverance and trust in Daniel and the future of ISG in Switzerland.

We have been part of ARE Beteiligungen GmbH since January 2025. Around a dozen companies belong to the ARE Group, which has grown above average over the past ten years and has successfully developed and expanded its existing business areas. ISG (Switzerland) AG is already the second Swiss company in the ARE Group.
